The engine guard extension and intermediate plate give optimum protection against stones protruding from the ground or bumps when riding off road. Both guard plates were deliberately manufactured with no holes to prevent the bike getting caught on stones or branches. The engine guard extension is fixed to the center stand using 2 clamps with rubber inserts to prevent the plate from clattering. The engine guard intermediate plate is an effective extension to the existing engine guard and is fixed to the frame with two clamps.
