We use innovative LED headlights of 70 mm diameter for our auxiliary headlights. The excellent light output is made possible by the latest lighting technology and high-performance LEDS with a higher level of efficiency. Power consumption just 13 watts per headlight! (Halogen: ~55 watts )

We accepted these challenges, and the result is a cylinder protector that meets all these criteria!
Made of 3 mm aluminium and with specific attachment points, the Touratech cylinder protector can cope
with R1200GS "drops" as well as tougher impacts. Now there's an end to scratches - and even worse
damage - to valve covers.
Tested in Madagascar as well as various other locations, the protector has more than proved its abilities.
The BMW engine crash bar on the water-cooled R 1200 GS isn't a proper crash bar until you fit the Touratech
reinforcing strut! The additional supporting point is the key to providing maximum safety.
In terms of design and appearance, it perfectly matches the BMW engine crash bar on the GS since it is
the same diameter and has an electropolished surface. Made from sturdy 25 mm stainless steel tube, the
reinforcing strut is very easy to fit thanks to a new fastening system. The Touratech reinforcing strut provides

The stainless steel Touratech cylinder guard is the ideal complement to the original BMW engine guard as it closes the gap between the pipes. Proper protection for the sensitive wheel speed sensors is therefore essential, especially on machines that often travel on rough ground. 045-5005Due to the position of the R 1200 GS boxer engine, unlike on other motorbikes, the manifolds are far over to the outside, completely free and exposed. Travelling over rough and smooth, there is always a risk of scratching a manifold on something or getting stuck. The consequences - dents, scratches or, in the worst case scenario, holes. We have the solution: the heat protection shield by Touratech provides optimum protection for the manifold. A useful and inexpensive accessory that usually pays for itself the first time it's used. On the BMW the brake fluid reservoir is all too easily accessible, putting it at risk of damage or tampering. Made from laser-cut aluminium, Touratech's brake fluid reservoir guard effectively prevents damage and undesired access to the reservoir lid, yet you can still easily see the fluid level. The guard simply bolts onto the existing mounting point.

The radiator is one of those parts on the bike that you don't notice until they break. And when it does it can mean serious trouble, including a ruined engine. But how could the radiator break? It's not very likely to happen on the road, but here our trendy stainless steel protector will still keep your bike looking cool. And off-road? There is a real danger that contact with branches or flying stones will damage the delicate radiators – unless you have a radiator shield.

Even though BMW has fitted the radiator as closely as possible to the R1200GS , its bottom corners still protrude quite a lot.
